The Masons Arms in Easington Lane, my first paid gig, the beginning, a new venture unfolding.  A venture I had put off for a couple of years, though I did the odd Charity gig and sang a few songs at the local karaoke bars.
This was different, money was changing hands, and I had to sing around 24 songs, not just the odd 1 or 2.
The gig itself turned out to be a good experience, a good lively mixed age crowd, out to enjoy themselves, what more could you ask for?.
Along with long time family friend, Roger Scott, who came to support me, we had a good night, on that Friday 13th February 1998.

Here I will be communicating my thoughts to hopefully a world wide audience, or possibly just myself (which I’m quite good at).

Who is Brian Brodie?

Well I am (Brian Brodie) an Entertainer based on the Lancashire coast, near to the Entertainment Capital of England, Blackpool.

This is my 13th year in the business, in which time I have entertained audiences up and down the country, although mainly in the North, I’ve travelled many miles and had many a sore throat.

But I Love it!

While I’m on with this first post I’d like to give a special Thanks to everyone who has booked me over the years and all of you who have listened to me.  I look forward to hopefully seeing you all again in the future.
